So here's the deal, I love to photograph fireworks, thanks to my awesome, awesome city - I have that opportunity exactly three times a year - New Year, Sea Days and Pyromagic Fireworks Competition.

And the Pyromagic Competition is in August - Two days, four fireworks shows. Fantastic opportunity for me, and really awesome shows. Also after having my lovely dSLR camera for two years I found the settings I should use for the best possible photos, yayaa finally! So here some photos for you and advice if you have a dSLR, time and aperture are what you need to set. Time from my experience should be somewhere between 1.5 sec to max 4 sec (more is possible, but it's then better to be far away from the show), also aperture works best on between f/8 to f/13 - also depending on time, the longer time the higher aperture you should set. It goes without the question that you need to set it all manually, and change the settings depending on the show. It also works in your favor if the camera saves the photos fast, cos really 2 seconds is eternity during the show (and with slow camera saving job, it's 2 seconds for a photo, and another 2 seconds for saving).

So here we go, my favorites from the show. Be careful it's very image heavy cos I finally have good pictures and I can't decide what it really the best....
